Samsung releases December 2023 update for Galaxy A54 5G [Verizon US]

Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone users are already enjoying Android 14 and One UI 6.0 features as the company released a major update last month. Now, Verizon is sending a new update with a December 2023 security patch for the Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone to improve system security and stability.

December 2023 security patch includes over 60 fixes for known security issues, of which 50 are of Google and others of Samsung. These include buffer overflow, AR Emoji, KnoxCustom Service, bootloader, SmartManager, Knox Guard, and Contacts.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G smartphone are getting a December 2023 security update on the Verizon network in the US with One UI build version A546VSQS5BWL2. 

It is a gradual rollout so it may take hours or days to reach all models. This update is available for Galaxy A54 5G models running Android 14-based One UI 6.0. You can get the latest update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.
