WhatsApp rolling out automatic album feature for channels

Since the launch of the Channels feature, WhatsApp has been regularly working on the implementation of new features and enhancements. Recently, WhatsApp started rolling out the v2.23.26.16 update, bringing an automatic album feature for channels.

As discovered by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp Beta v2.23.26.16 comes with an automatic album feature when sharing media in channels. Once shared, multiple consecutive images or videos will be automatically organized in the WhatsApp channels.

Notably, this feature is already available in chats and groups for years. With the latest update, WhatsApp is bringing support for automatic albums in channels. It’s also important to mention that photos and videos shared in the album support channel reactions.
