Tipster Ahmed Qwaider revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be capable of capturing 24MP images, double the default 12MP. It’s worth mentioning that Apple’s newest iPhone 15 supports 24MP default image capturing for better results.

Thanks to the Galaxy AI, apps and functions will be powered by artificial intelligence-derived tools across the One UI 6.1. In particular, the Photo Remaster feature will have an ND Filter option in Expert RAW to adjust lighting while preserving colors.

Notably, Expert RAW app’s recent update brought the ND Filter option. As the tipster indicates, the next Galaxy S Ultra will act the same as the iPhone 15s, which use a 48MP camera to capture images in a binned-down 12MP resolution and then combines it with 48MP images to merge them into a 24MP image.
