Google Messages Magic Compose feature is expanding to more countries

Google introduced the Magic Compose feature for its Messages app at I/O 2023. It was initially available only in the US, and only for Android phones with US SIM cards. Now, Google has started rolling out the feature to more countries, such as France and the UK.

The Magic Compose feature uses artificial intelligence to suggest relevant and contextual responses based on your previous messages, emojis, reactions, and URLs. You can also choose from seven different styles for your texts, such as Remix, Excited, Chill, Shakespeare, Lyrical, Formal, or Short.

To use Magic Compose, you need to be in the beta versions of Google Messages and Carrier Services, signed into your Google Account, and over 18 years old. If you want to try this feature, you can join the beta programs from the Play Store.

Google claims that Magic Compose is secure as it does not send messages with attachments, voice messages, or images to its servers. It also discards the messages from the servers after generating suggestions and does not use them to train machine learning models.
