Android loves Samsung: Nearby Share will be known as Quick Share

Available on the Android ecosystem, Google’s Nearby Share is an excellent file-sharing tool. Recently, the company supported sharing files between Android devices and Windows PCs. However, Nearby Share for Android will be known as Quick Share – naming belongs to Samsung.

Tipster kamila reports that the recent GMS v23.50.13 update renamed the Nearby Share to Quick Share. The source also posted a screenshot, displaying the changes implemented throughout the software UI including Quick Panel, app section, and so on.

Samsung’s Nearby Share and AirDrop rival – Quick Share – is available on all Galaxy devices. Like its competitors, it allows Galaxy users to share files across their devices seamlessly. Undoubtedly, Android loves Samsung, and the Nearby Share is getting renamed to Quick Share.
