Samsung’s December 2023 security update is available now for these Galaxy devices

Samsung is rolling out the December 2023 security update for eligible Galaxy devices. This year’s last security patch has arrived on various Galaxy devices with their major Android 14 upgrade. However, the rollout is gradually underway as Samsung preps to hold Unpacked next month.

Samsung’s December 2023 security update addresses a total of 75 different vulnerabilities on Galaxy devices. As per the details revealed by the OEM, seven Android vulnerabilities were marked as critical, while the rest were marked as high priority.

On the other hand, 9 of the 16 fixes were determined to be critical fixes by Samsung. Some of these individual patch components address apps like AR Emoji, Smart Clip, and even the Contacts app. Those issues are all fixed with the December update.
