Samsung is preparing to introduce the Galaxy S24 series next month. Before release, we are aware of various features that the new phones will bring to the table. Recently, the Battery Protection feature of One UI 6.1 has been spotted in Samsung’s Android 14 update.

X user TarunVats managed to access the hidden One UI 6.1 Battery Protection feature in a Samsung phone running Android 14/One UI 6. Since the feature is accessible through some tricky steps, it’s not functional in the One UI 6 software.

You can also try accessing Battery Protection feature of One UI 6.0 in your Samsung Galaxy. To do so, you need to download and install Activity Launcher app from the Play Store. Once done, search “batterypro” and you will see a Device care submenu, just open activity and Enable it using the toggle.

As per the previous leak, the Basic mode stops the charging at 100% and then resumes at 95%, while the Adapt mode charges the phone up to 80% and pauses until it’s time for you to wake up. Meanwhile, the Max mode stops charging the battery at 85% for good battery health.
