Samsung Galaxy S24 128GB model uses slower UFS 3.1 storage
Samsung Galaxy S24 vanilla model could only be available in 8GB RAM option. However, a new report indicates that Samsung is using slower UFS 3.1 storage on the Galaxy S24 5G’s 128GB storage variant as part of freezing the price of this flagship.
According to a report, the Samsung Galaxy S24 128GB storage model uses relatively slower UFS 3.1 (Universal Flash Storage). The rest of the lineup is said to come with Samsung’s 7 V-NAND memory-based UFS 4.0 storage, which is faster than UFS 3.1.

It looks like a strategic move by the South Korean tech giant as it’s reported to keep the prices of the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra the same as their Galaxy S23 counterparts. If you can’t survive with slower storage tech, you will have the option to buy a 256GB variant of the S24.
