Samsung updates Bixby app for better voice control on Wear OS devices
Samsung is rolling out a new update for its Bixby app on Wear OS devices, which aims to enhance the functionality and performance of the voice assistant. The update is available for Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 models.
The Watch Bixby is an app that handles the voice recognition and processing of commands. The new update for Watch Bixby brings the version to 1.3.29.70 and the package size to 17.93 MB. The update improves some functions and fixes some issues to provide a better experience.
In addition, Samsung also updates the Watch Bixby Wakeup app that allows the wake-up word “Hi Bixby” to activate the voice assistant. The fresh update for Watch Bixby Wakeup comes with version 3.0.35.16 and the package size is 4.68 MB.
The new update for the Bixby app on Wear OS devices is expected to make the voice assistant more responsive, accurate, and reliable. Users can install the update from the Galaxy Store on their smartwatches. Also, they can download the update through the One UI build version mentioned below.
