Apple is expected to release the Vision Pro XR headset in early next year. However, a new report indicates that the company is already working on its sequel. Apple Vision Pro 2 could be equipped with a more advanced RGB OLEDoS display, supplied by Samsung Display.

According to Omdia (via TheElec), Apple Vision Pro 2 XR Headset will use a more advanced Samsung RGB OLEDoS display that is brighter and more efficient than the WOLED display used on the first-gen Vision Pro. Notably, Samsung Display is the only firm capable of producing RGB OLEDoS display.

It’s worth mentioning that RGB OLEDoS displays use Red, Green, and Blue OLED on silicon and do not require a color filter. The lack of a color filter for the RGB OLEDoS displays makes them brighter than the WOLED and color filter OLEDoS displays.
