Samsung Galaxy S23 to get One UI 6.1 update soon after Galaxy S24 debut

Samsung is going to introduce an Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software with its upcoming flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S24. Now, a piece of new information reveals that a new internal beta build of One UI 6.1 has been spotted for Galaxy S23.

According to the report by Checkfirm, Samsung is testing a new One UI 6.1 internal testing build on Galaxy S23. The new build has the version ending with ZWX5 and is an upgrade from the previous build ZWX4.

The fresh build indicates that Samsung is working regularly on the One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy S23 and this series users will soon get it as it is currently under testing.

However, the new internal beta build does not mean that a public beta program for One UI 6.1 is imminent. Samsung usually tests its software internally for several months before releasing it to the public. Therefore, Galaxy S23 users may have to wait a bit longer to get a taste of One UI 6.1, obviously after the Galaxy S24 launch.
