3 Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones getting December 2023 update

Samsung rolled out its latest security patch to a bunch of Galaxy devices and is regularly working to make it available for more devices. Right now, the Korean tech giant is releasing the December 2023 security update for three more Galaxy A series smartphones – the Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A22 4G, and Galaxy A04s.

The new update for these devices arrives with security improvements, bug fixes, and stability optimization to provide a better and error-free performance.

December 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, Galaxy A22, and Galaxy A04s smartphones can be identified through One UI versions mentioned below.

  • Galaxy A23 5G – A236EXXS5DWL1
  • Galaxy A22 – A225FXXS8DWL1
  • Galaxy A04s – A047FXXS6CWL7

December 2023 security patch includes fixes of more than 60 vulnerabilities, of which 50 are of Google and others of Samsung. These include buffer overflow, AR Emoji, KnoxCustom Service, bootloader, SmartManager, Knox Guard, and Contacts.

You can check the update by navigating to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.
