January 2024 security update starts rolling out with Galaxy Z Flip 4

The new year has begun and Samsung has also started releasing the Janaury 2024 security patch for its Galaxy devices. The first smartphone to get the January 2024 security update is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.

January 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 arrives with firmware version F721BXXS4EWL5 and it is currently rolling out in some European countries including Germany.

The company will soon expand this update to more Galaxy Z Flip 4 models. Other Galaxy smartphones and tablets are also expected to receive the January 2024 security update in the following days or weeks.

However, it’s important to note that this update focuses mainly on security fixes and does not introduce any new features or changes. Samsung has yet to disclose the details of security flaws of the latest patch.
