Samsung pulls Galaxy Z Flip 4, Fold 4’s One UI 6.0 rollout in South Korea
Samsung has announced that the company has temporarily stopped an Android 14 One UI 6.0 update rollout for its fourth generation of foldable devices – the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4. The major update is already available for these devices in selected countries.
According to the community moderator, Samsung encountered a problem with the security patch applied to the One UI 6 software that was released to some Fold 4 and Flip 4 users. However, the company is working on an improved version of the software.
In the meantime, Samsung is releasing One UI 5.1.1 for Fold 4 and Flip 4 models in some markets. In addition, the improved version of One UI 6 with the fixed security patch is under final testing and is expected to be released by the end of this week or early next week.
