The Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office indicted an ex-Samsung employee surnamed Kim. He has been indicted under physical detention on charges of violating the industrial technology protection law over leaking Samsung’s chip tech to a China-based firm.

Report says that Kim is accused of having stolen Samsung’s info on the manufacturing of the 18-nano DRAM semiconductor, and transferred it to Chinese semiconductor manufacturer ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to be used for its product development.
