Samsung Galaxy M55 5G clears BIS hurdle, India launch soon!

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M55 5G has just made its presence on the BIS database, hinting at its imminent debut in India. While the authority’s database listing doesn’t reveal any info on specs or design, the model number was only confirmed to be SM-M556B/DS.

The upcoming Galaxy M55 5G will be a sequel to the Galaxy M54 5G, which launched in select markets last year. The M55 5G could be equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, and an Adreno 644 GPU with a base frequency of 1.80GHz and a max of up to 2.40GHz.

Apart from this, we expect that the Galaxy M55 5G will borrow some excellent features from its predecessor like a 6.7-inch sAMLOED Plus panel offering Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which embeds a fingerprint reader and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
