Samsung Wallet gets Rupay credit card support for UPI payments in India

Available on all Galaxy devices, Samsung Wallet is a one-stop destination for online transactions, crucial govt IDs and much more. Recently, Samsung announced that the Galaxy’s Wallet app now supports Rupay credit card for UPI payments in India.

Unified payments interface, commonly known as UPI, is a widely used online payments service in India. From an amount as low as INR 1, this platform allows you to make digital payments of up to INR 5 lac in the country. In recent times, various banks launched their Rupay credit cards in the country.

Rupay credit cards allow you to make any kind of merchant payment using the UPI interface free of cost. Apps like Gpay and PhonePe already brought Rupay credit card support, and Samsung Wallet now also supports the linkage, making payments simpler than ever.
