Samsung recently released the January 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series. However, the new security update was limited to the carrier-locked models. Now, the company is expanding this update to unlocked models of the Galaxy S22 lineup in the US.

The latest update includes the January 2024 security patch, which fixes over 70 security flaws identified in the previous version of the software. It is a minor update, so don’t expect it to bring any new features or changes.
