5x camera of Galaxy S24 Ultra beats S23 Ultra’s 10x where it matters most

The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with a new 50-megapixel telephoto camera, which has a 5x optical zoom feature. Leaked promo material showed that the device delivers 10x optical quality zoom with its new 5x camera sensor.

While the release is yet to happen, Samsung insider IceUniverse shared some thrilling info about the device. The tipster revealed that Galaxy S24 Ultra with its 5x sensor delivers better 10x results than the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 10x optical camera.

The tipster also added that the device performs like a night owl, as it captures very smooth and clean 10x shots with its 5x solution. This is compared with the same magnified shot of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which rendered images full of noise.
