Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra Specs Comparison: Worth buying in 2024 if…
Samsung is launching the Galaxy S24 series today, but last year’s Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra smartphones are worth buying in 2024, especially if and when the price drops. The S23 series devices feature a similar glass and aluminum design.
The Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor internationally. The devices also have the same display adaptive refresh rate (up to 120Hz) and 12-megapixel front camera as well as ultrawideband support for digital car key feature.

The Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus have similar triple rear camera setup, consisting of a telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 Ultra packs Samsung’s monstrous 200-megapixel primary camera with dual telephoto sensors alongside an ultrawide lens.

Samsung, during the Unpacked February 2023 showcased that these sensors have improved resolution (obviously), but also improve the phone’s low-light photography by combining sets of smaller pixels into larger individual ones that can capture more light.
