Samsung Galaxy S24 series smartphones come with a new version of the Quick Share app along with the latest One UI 6.1 software. The Quick Share app now integrates with Google’s file-sharing app Nearby Share. It means that Galaxy S24 users can easily share files with other Android devices that have Nearby Share enabled, as well as Windows PCs that have the feature.

With the integration of the Nearby Share app, the icon of the Samsung Quick Share has also been revamped. The icon is now blue with two arrows. The new Quick Share app is one of the features of One UI 6.1.

The new Quick Share app will also be available for older Samsung devices through an update from the Galaxy Store, which will replace the current version of the app. As per the information, the upgraded Quick Share app is available with version 13.6.10.38.
