Samsung has announced a new feature named Transcript Assist for its Voice Recorder app on the Galaxy S24 series with One UI 6.1. It allows users to transcribe their voice recordings using artificial intelligence. It is part of Samsung’s Galaxy AI that aims to enhance the user experience with various AI-powered capabilities.

Transcript Assist can convert voice recordings into text transcriptions. It can also detect and label different speakers within a single recording, making it easier to follow the conversation. Additionally, users can translate the transcription to another language and view the original and translated text side by side.

Furthermore, users can also get an AI summary of the transcription, which highlights the main points and keywords. This Galaxy AI feature provides a secure and convenient way to transcribe voice recordings.

Samsung’s Transcript Assist feature is currently available on the Galaxy S24 series, which was launched earlier this month. Samsung has also confirmed that it will bring its Galaxy AI features to older Galaxy devices later this year.
