Samsung has introduced a new app called Samsung Find with One UI 6.1 on the Galaxy S24 series. It is developed to help you find your Galaxy devices and items attached to your Galaxy SmartTags. Samsung Find app replaces the SmartThings Find feature in the SmartThings app.

Samsung Find is a useful app for Galaxy users who want to keep track of their devices and items. The app is available globally, except for China.

The new app is preloaded on the new Galaxy S24 series, which runs on One UI 6.1. Other devices that will upgrade to One UI 6.1 can download Samsung Find from the Galaxy Store. It has three tabs – People, Devices, and Items.

People Tab

  • It allows you to share your location with your friends and family, and see their location on a map.

Devices Tab

  • It helps you locate your or a family member’s Galaxy device, such as a phone, tablet, watch, or earbuds.

Items Tab

  • It lets you find items that you have tagged with a Galaxy SmartTag, such as your keys, wallet, or backpack.

One feature that is missing from Samsung Find is the “notify when left behind” feature, which alerts you when you move away from an important item. This feature is still available in the SmartThings app and will be added to Samsung Find in a future update.
