Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ gets first software update in the US

Samsung is sending the first software update for the recently launched Galaxy Tab A9+ in the US. The latest update installs the January 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. The update is rolling out on Verizon carrier network and other carriers could get this update in the coming days.

January 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ arrives in the US with PDA version X218USQS1AXA1. The latest security patch fixes over 70 issues which are mainly related to Notification service, Samsung DeX, My Files, and Bluetooth pairing.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ features an 11-inch screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera, and an 8MP rear camera, and equips a 7,040mAh battery. While the Wi-Fi model offers two memory choices (4GB + 64GB or 8GB + 128GB), the 5G model is offered in only 4GB + 64GB configuration.
