Spec Monster: Samsung Galaxy S25’s Exynos 2500 chip detailed in a new leak

Samsung’s Exynos chipset has made a comeback with the recently released Galaxy S smartphones. While the Exynos 2400 is yet to be proven a successful chipset, key specs of the Galaxy S25’s Exynos 2500 have been revealed in a new leak.

The company has been working on a dream chip, rumored many times in the past. It’s likely to be named as Exynos 2500, which will power the Galaxy S25 series in most markets. In a new leak, tipster OreXDA revealed key info such as a 10-core CPU, advanced fabrication tech, and ARM’s upcoming CPU cores.

The Exynos 2500 will be fabricated on Samsung Foundry’s 2nd-gen 3nm (SF3) process. The chip could feature one Cortex-X5 CPU core clocked at 3.2GHz or higher, three Cortex-A720 CPU cores clocked at 2.3GHz or above, three Cortex-A720 CPU cores, and four Cortex-A530 CPU cores.

Earlier, it was revealed that ARM is working on new CPU cores, which will ultimately surpass Apple’s lead in performance. Qualcomm will go ahead with its Oryon architecture, while Samsung and MediaTek are likely to boast ARM’s upcoming CPU Cores in their next-gen premium chips.
