Samsung Galaxy S23, S22, and S21 to get One UI 6.1 update after One UI 6.0 February Patch

Samsung has announced its update plan for the February 2024 security patch and One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S series devices running on Android 14 with One UI 6.0. The updated plan has been shared by the community moderator of Galaxy S.

In addition to the plan, Samsung has also advised its customers to update the apps they are using to the latest version compatible with their OS version, as some errors can be fixed by doing so.

One UI 6.0 based February 2023 Security Patch 

Samsung’s community moderator has stated that the Galaxy S23 lineup will be the first to get the security patch version of One UI 6.0 in February 2024. The security patch level will be upgraded to February 2024, which is the most recent one.

After that, other Galaxy S series smartphones including Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra will get the February 2023 security patch in mid-late February 2024.

One UI 6.1 

Based on Android 14, One UI 6.1 update is scheduled for the first half of 2024 for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S23 FE.

Samsung is planning to integrate One UI 6.0 error improvements version and One UI 6.1. However, there’s no confirmation as the company is currently working on that. Notably, the update plan is applicable for the S series devices released in Korea and may vary depending on the country of release and users.
