YouTube app crashes on some Android users’ devices after recent updates

Some users of the YouTube app on Android devices have been experiencing a frustrating issue that causes the app to crash constantly. The issue started about a week ago and seems to appear after the recent updates of the app

According to several reports, the issue occurs when users select a video to watch on the app. The video loads up, but the description, comments, and related videos never appear. Instead, the app crashes after a few seconds and the same thing happens when users try to reopen it.

Not all Android users are experiencing this problem but it is widespread enough to generate a lot of complaints and negative feedback. It is unclear which version of the app is causing the problem, but some users have suggested that newer versions of the app have fixed the problem.

A possible solution for users who are still facing the issue is to either uninstall the updates to the YouTube app or install the latest beta version. However, the official beta program is currently full, so users will have to sideload the beta version from a third-party source.

YouTube has not officially acknowledged or addressed the issue yet, but hopefully, the company will soon release a stable update that will resolve the problem for all users.
