January 2024 security update hitting Galaxy Note 20 series in India
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones already received the January 2024 patch in Europe, Latin America, and the US. Now, Samsung is rolling out a January 2024 security update for the Galaxy Note 20 series in India.
The fresh security patch fixes over 75 issues including 1 critical, 68 high, and 6 moderate levels of common vulnerability exposures. These are mainly related to Notification service, Samsung DeX, My Files, and Bluetooth pairing. It makes your device more secure, stable, and reliable as well as provides an enhanced performance.

Users in India can identify the January 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series through the One UI build N98xBXXS9HXA2. The installation package size of this update is 204.35 MB.
To install the update on your smartphone, you just need to navigate toward your Galaxy Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and hit the Download and Install button. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
