Android makes eSIM switching easy with its new feature

Google has introduced a new eSIM transfer tool for Android, which allows you to securely and quickly move your eSIM from one Android phone to any other Android phone. This feature was announced at MWC 2023, but it recently spotted by users who were setting up their Pixel 8 and Galaxy S24 Ultra devices.

The eSIM transfer tool is an amazing feature for Android, as it makes switching phones easier and more convenient. All you need to do is scan a QR code that pops up on your old device when you set up your new one.

The eSIM transfer tool works with any Android phone, not just Google’s or Samsung’s. However, it currently only supports T-Mobile eSIM profiles, as the carrier is one of the first to partner with Google on this feature. Google hopes to expand the tool to more carriers and regions in the future.

Now, you don’t need to worry if you have an eSIM on your Android phone and want to move your plan to a new device nor do you have to use your carrier’s app or visit a store to transfer data as Google has a solution.
