One UI 6.1 Photo Ambient Wallpaper: Add weather effects to lock screen

Samsung‘s One UI 6.1 delivers an enhanced experience and performance as it arrives with a bundle of new features and enhancements. One of the hidden features of One UI 6.1 is Photo Ambient Wallpaper.

The Photo Ambient Wallpaper feature makes your lock screen more dynamic and immersive. It adds weather effects to your lock screen wallpaper based on your location and time of the day.

For example, if you live in a place where it snows, you can see snow particles falling over your wallpaper when you turn on your phone. Or if you are in a sunny area, you can see rays of light shining through your wallpaper.

To enable this feature, you need to go to Settings >> Advanced features >> Labs and turn on the “Photo ambient wallpaper” option.

Then, you need to go to Settings >> Wallpaper and Style>> Change wallpapers and select the Creative category. There, you will find the “Photo ambient” option that will apply the weather effects to your wallpaper.
