Camera improvement rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S22 series

Just two days left in February and Samsung begins rolling out new software to the Galaxy S22 series. Rather than the February 2024 security patch, Samsung included camera improvement for Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra smartphones.

Samsung is currently releasing a camera improvement update to the Galaxy S22 series in Europe. While the changelog specifically mentions camera-related content, there’s no additional detail on which part or segment of the camera is getting enhanced.

Consumers having an S22 series handset can expect a new incremental update soon, which will bear a version number ending with DXA6. While the deployment is happening in European countries, it’s unclear whether it will go international or not.
