Samsung’s new Galaxy S24 series comes with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 pre-installed. The new software has many new features and AI-powered tools. Now, another awesome feature of Galaxy S24 One UI 6.1’s AI Photo Editor revealed, which turns colorless photos into colorful.

As spotted by IceUniverse, Galaxy S24 One UI 6.1’s AI Photo Editor has a quick toggle, which allows you to fill colors in black and white photos. For better demonstration, the tipster also shared a video, flaunting the color-filling feature of One UI 6.1 in action.

When a black-and-white photo was opened in the Gallery app, an option to colorize the photo appeared in the editing section. A single tap is enough for all this magic, just tap the feature and the generative AI will fill the most appropriate colors in your image that is colorless.

Smartphones like the Galaxy S23 series and S23 FE are expected to get this feature with the One UI 6.1. In addition, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 as well as the Tab S9 series could also receive a handful of Galaxy AI tools with the next major One UI update.

Apart from colorizing images, Samsung’s Galaxy AI introduces awesome photo editing tools. There’s a new Generative AI Edit tool, allowing you to bring perfection to your random shots. The vacant space of image can also be filled with the generative AI capabilities of the S24 series.
