It’s worth noting that Qualcomm hasn’t revealed the duration of this new contract with Samsung. However, the company’s CEO said that it is for years, starting in 2024. It indicates that both vendors reached a new agreement before the arrival of Exynos chipsets.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to ship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy globally. This chip will be equipped with Qualcomm’s own CPU architecture NUVIA/ORYON. At the same time, it will be manufactured on advanced 3nm process technology for efficiency and performance.

“We’re also announcing that we extended a multiyear agreement with Samsung relating to Snapdragon platforms for flagship Galaxy smartphone launches starting in 2024. The extended agreement demonstrates the value of Snapdragon 8, our technology leadership and our successful long-term strategic partnership with Samsung.” – Qualcomm.
