Unbeatable Galaxy S24 Ultra ranks 18th in a biased camera test!

Galaxy S24 Ultra boasts the most advanced camera setup in Samsung’s history of flagships. Beyond hardware, the camera is fueled with artificial intelligence technology to further improve performance. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra ranked 18th place on the camera chart of DXOMARK.

Samsung’s new Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 10MP telephoto sensor, and a 50MP periscope lens. Except for ultra-wide, all cameras are equipped with optical image stabilization technology.

Reviewers at DXOMARK gave 144 points to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, making it eligible for 18th rank on their global chart. Notably, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is dominating the camera chart, while the Huawei P60 Pro has occupied the runner-up rank.

DXOMARK points out that Noise, particularly in the shadow areas and corners of the frame in photo and low-light video, Shallow depth of field results in out-of-focus background subjects in group shots, exposure and white balance instabilities in photo and video are the key areas where S24 Ultra lags.

Meanwhile, the device was praised for its vivid and pleasant brightness across all conditions when viewed on HDR display, accurate target exposure down to low light in photos, neutral white balance and precise color rendering in most test scenarios for photo, zoom and video and good detail in bright light.
