Android Auto on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra is not working in some cars. We’ve seen various complaints in the past, citing issues with Android Auto functionality. Similarly, Samsung’s latest flagship seems to have no exception from the long-standing problem.

Galaxy S24 smartphone users complain that there’s some problem with the projection of the Android Auto screen on their infotainment units. In particular, the issue was reported with cars from brands including SEAT, Skoda, and Volkswagen.

Samsung has acknowledged the issue with the Android Auto function but denied any fault of the smartphone units. While the problem is arriving because of car vendors’ end, Samsung UK was forced to create a separate support page for that issue and steps as a temporary fix.

Samsung said the following:

“Some users have reported that they are unable to use Android Auto to connect their Galaxy S24 to their Volkswagen, Skoda, or SEAT cars. If you are experiencing this issue, try the steps given here.

If none of these steps resolve your issue, please contact your Volkswagen, Skoda, or SEAT customer centre or service centre. These manufacturers have confirmed that they are working on software updates for the affected vehicles.”
