Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chipset begins internal testing!
Qualcomm will introduce a new mid-range chipset soon. The company has reportedly started testing Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 under the project “Kalpeni.” A reliable source revealed that Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 is under testing with 6GB LPDDR4X and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage.
While Samsung is unlikely to use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chipset in the Galaxy lineup, other Android vendors may introduce devices with it. Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Gen and 7 Gen chips, the company is also focussing on the mid-range smartphone market.

The tipster hasn’t shared the key specs of this forthcoming processor from Qualcomm. Notably, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 uses a Kryo CPU with a peak clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. However, it is expected to be more powerful and power efficient than its predecessor.
