Google rebrands Nearby Share as Quick Share for Windows
Google has updated the Nearby Share app for Windows with a new name and logo. The app is now called Quick Share from Google, and it features a circular icon with two arrows, replacing the old double helix design.
The new update of the Nearby Share app arrives with version 1.0.1444.0 and it is available for download from the Microsoft Store. However, the download page still shows the old name and logo. However, the changelog does not contain any other changes or improvements to the app.

The rebranding of Nearby Share comes as Samsung has its file-sharing app called Quick Share, which is exclusive to Galaxy devices. However, the integration of Quick Share and Nearby Share was announced by Google and Samsung at CES.
Quick Share from Google allows users to share files, links, and other content with nearby devices. The app also lets users adjust their visibility and device name settings. Users can find the received files in a folder named Nearby Share, which can be renamed manually.
