Samsung brings Galaxy XCover 7 rugged phone to India
Last month, Samsung introduced a new rugged smartphone and tablet. Now, Samsung brought the Galaxy XCover 7 rugged phone to India, featuring a removable battery. The phone is available in two versions including an Enterprise Edition and a Standard Edition.
It’s worth noting that the Galaxy XCover 7 is the first Samsung phone in India, which is exclusively available for enterprise use only. General consumers in the country will not be able to purchase the rugged handset, even from the official website/store.

The Standard Edition of the Galaxy XCover 7 comes with a price tag of INR 27,208, whereas the Enterprise Edition costs INR 27,530. Interestingly, the Standard Edition features a 1-year warranty, while the Enterprise Edition comes with a 2-year warranty.
Samsung’s XCover 7 comes with a 6.6-inch LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. As it’s a rugged phone, it is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, as well as able to withstand drops from a height of up to 1.5 meters.
Under the hood, it’s packed with a 4,050mAh removable battery with 15W fast wired charging. In addition, the device boasts a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated action button, bringing the ability to be programmed to open any app.
