Samsung Galaxy S21 series starts getting February 2024 security update
New features introduced with One UI 6.1 are yet to be rolled out to Galaxy S21 series. Meanwhile, Samsung today started rolling out a fresh firmware update for Galaxy S21 series in Switzerland, which installs the February 2024 security patches.
Prior to the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung started to release the February 2024 security update to Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones. The company’s 2021 flagships today join the growing list of Galaxy devices installing the latest Android patches.

Samsung also recently detailed its February 2024 security update. Per the info, the firmware includes a total of 72 security fixes. While 61 fixes come from Google for Android devices including Galaxies, 11 fixes are only for Samsung smartphones and tablets.
Do note that the February patch is currently rolling out in Switzerland. Other European counties are likely to follow the deployment soon. However, we expect it to be released for US carrier and carrier unlocked smartphones by the end of the week.
