Google hints at Android 15 with new Easter egg in latest Android 14 beta

Google just recently released an Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1, which brings some bug fixes and security updates to the operating system. However, the most interesting change is the one that affects the Easter egg.

With the latest beta update, the Easter egg has been modified. The circular badge has been replaced by an inverted triangle, with the same colors and logo, but without the number 14. This seems to be a quiet hint at the upcoming Android 15.

The inverted triangle could be a reference to the letter V as per the Android 15 codename (Vanilla Ice Cream), or to the shape of a rocket that suggests that Android 15 will have some new features related to space or satellite connectivity.

Google has not announced the official release date of Android 15, but it usually launches the first developer preview in February or March.
