Samsung Galaxy S23 series starts getting the February 2024 security update in the US. Recently, the company started rolling out the latest Android + One UI patches to the Galaxy S21 series. For the S23 series, the One UI 6.1 comes a step closer, following the Feb patch release.
February 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra is releasing in the US for carrier unlocked variants. The country’s network operators will also push the latest firmware to the network-branded models soon.

Simply, jump to your phone’s Settings, scroll down, and tap the Software update option. Lastly, hit Download and Install button to initiate the find for February patch for your device. You can identify the software update via the PDA build version, as follows:
- S911U1UES2BXAD – Galaxy S23 5G
- S916U1UES2BXAD – S23 Plus 5G
- S918U1UES2BXAD – S23 Ultra 5G
The company recently detailed the February 2024 patch. As per the information, the SW comes with 72 security fixes. While 61 fixes come from Google for Android devices including Galaxies, 11 fixes are only for Samsung smartphones and tablets.
While the firmware weighs about 400 megabytes, the changelog doesn’t list any specific change or improvement. Meanwhile, the One UI 6.1 is continuously getting ready to be distributed for 2023 flagships, which will include some of the best Galaxy S24 series features!
