Google will introduce its next-generation flagship smartphones later this year. The Pixel 9 series is expected to come with a new chipset that will be designed by Google, Tensor G4. In a recent development, an alleged Google Pixel 9 with Tensor G4 chip has surfaced.

Recently, an unreleased Google Pixel device codenamed Tokay benchmarked on Geekbench 5, which was allegedly powered by the Tensor G4 processor. In the single-core test, the chipset scored 1082 points, while the multi-core test score was 3121 points on Geekbench 5.

The octa-core chip has three clusters with four cores at 1.95GHz, three at 2.6GHz, and one at a peak of 3.1GHz. Additionally, the listing revealed that it uses a Mali G715 graphics processor. 8GB of RAM was paired with the device and it was running the Android 14 operating system.

Google’s Tensor G4 is expected to be a fine-tuned or customized variant of the Exynos 2400. The Galaxy S24 & S24 Plus use Exynos 2400 chip, which is fabricated by Samsung Foundry on its enhanced 4nm process. Still, we suggest you take this info as a grain of salt as things may change with time.
