Samsung drops a new firmware update for Galaxy A23 5G

January 2024 Security Patch Details

The fresh security patch fixes over 75 issues including 1 critical, 68 high, and 6 moderate levels of common vulnerability exposures. These are mainly related to Notification service, Samsung DeX, My Files, and Bluetooth pairing.

To install the update on your smartphone, you just need to navigate toward your Galaxy Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and hit the Download and Install button. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
