WhatsApp develops Chat Lock feature for linked devices

WhatsApp will soon bring the Chat Lock feature to accounts logged in on linked devices. With the WhatsApp Beta 2.24.4.14 update, the application brought the Chat Lock feature to linked devices. While the availability is currently limited to some users, a wider rollout is expected in the future.

When a chat is locked on the main device, it will automatically lock on all other linked devices. Notably, a secret code will be needed to open the list of all locked chats from a linked device. With synchronized chat locks, the platform ensures the security of chats from prying eyes.
