Samsung eyes 6G in partnership with Princeton University

Samsung Electronics has joined hands with Princeton University to shape the future of 6G wireless and networking systems. The 6G communications promises hyper-connectivity and the ultimate experience for both consumers and industries.

After entering the Galaxy AI era, Samsung is now eying the 6G networks that will be able to collect and utilize a tremendous amount of data associated with hundreds of billions of connected devices and human needs in partnership with Princeton University.

Notably, Samsung Research America has become a founding member of Princeton University’s NextG Initiative Corporate Affiliates Program to lead 6G research and development. This collaboration become a monumental force in shaping the future of 6G.

Furthermore, the SRA will work closely with Princeton University to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications. Alongside fellow corporate affiliates including Ericsson, Intel, MediaTek, Nokia Bell Labs, Qualcomm Technologies, and Vodafone.

Andrea Goldsmith, Dean of Princeton’s School of Engineering and Applied Science said,
