Samsung Galaxy S24 February 2024 update is official: Vividness, Camera enhancements and more

Samsung just announced the February 2024 update for the Galaxy S24 series, confirming the Vividness tool, Camera enhancements, and more. The company also revealed that the update rollout is starting this month itself, with availability varying depending on region and carrier.

Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series, which introduces various notable upgrades. Following the release, early buyers noticed some problems regarding display and camera quality. Hence, Samsung has developed an improved software for the devices.

“Based on your feedback, through an upcoming update, we aim to provide enhanced options and experiences across the device display and camera, enabled by advanced hardware and software integration efforts.” – Samsung said in its Newsroom post.

Vividness

As revealed in the past, Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra devices will get a new Vividness option under Advanced display settings. Once enabled, your smartphone will offer more vibrant display colors, as well as for a more natural and customizable viewing experience.

Camera Enhancements

Samsung’s first update for the Galaxy S24 series will also bring enhancements across the camera experience, including upgrades to the device’s zoom functions, Portrait Mode, Nightography, rear camera video shooting capabilities, and more.

When compared to rivals like the iPhone, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra didn’t perform excellently. Meanwhile, the company is bringing enhancements across the camera department. You will have better photography and videography experience post-update installation.
