WhatsApp is regularly working on new features and improvements for its users to provide an amazing experience. At the moment, WhatsApp is rolling out a new beta update for Android with version 2.24.4.17, which brings the ability to disable channel reactions.

Reactions are enabled by default for all channels, but channel owners can now choose to disable them if they wish. To do so, they need to go to the channel settings and toggle off the option to allow reactions.

By disabling channel reactions, channel owners can ensure a more focused communication experience for their followers without any potential distractions.

Disabling channel reactions can also help channel owners prevent misunderstandings of their content, as reactions can sometimes convey different meanings or sentiments than planned.

WhatsApp is gradually rolling out the feature to disable channel reactions to more beta testers. If you are a beta tester and you want to try this feature, make sure you have the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.4.17 update installed on your device.
