WhatsApp adds List style into Channels section for better visibility
WhatsApp has rolled out a new interface for the channel list, which is available for some beta testers with version 2.24.4.19. This new look makes it easier for users to navigate and access the updates from different channels.
The new interface for the channels list is similar to the one found in the chats tab. It also provides more space for the channel name and the last message, as well as a mute icon for the muted channels.

In addition to this, WhatsApp recently announced that it was developing a feature to pin channels. However, the ability to pin channels is still not available in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.4.19 update. This suggests that WhatsApp is still working on this feature and may release it in a future update.
