Apple is planning to launch its next affordable model the iPhone SE 4 in 2025 and this time, the Cupertino has decided to use OLED panels in its budget smartphone instead of LCD. Taking this into consideration, Samsung Display has offered a $30 unit price for Apple’s 2025 iPhone SE OLED screen.

According to the report, three reputed manufacturers including Samsung, BOE, and Tianma have offered their prices to Apple for OLED panels that will be used in the upcoming iPhone SE 4. In which Samsung leads over BOE, while the third one seems not to be a serious contender.

Also, the OLED panel for the iPhone SE 4 will likely be the same one as those used in iPhone 14 and iPhone 13. Therefore, the panel suppliers who so ever receive the order from Apple will not have to make additional investments into research and development.
