Samsung new patent shows Hybrid Tablet that folds and rolls!
Rumors about the triple-fold device have been circulating on the web for a long time and now a new patent has emerged revealing a Samsung Hybrid Tablet that folds and rolls. Sounds interesting right? So let’s delve in and check out the new patent details.
We have seen rollable concepts multiple times but for foldable phones, however, Samsung now seems to have some different plans. A new Samsung patent shows a tablet with a foldable and rollable mechanism, notably, this is the first time when we have seen a hybrid tablet patent.
The patent is simply named “Display device” and it’s going to be a pocketable tablet, featuring both a traditional foldable hinge and an extendable rolling display.
The device somewhat looks like a Galaxy Z Fold from the side and the back, except for the cameras. Simultaneously, there is no cover display, opening up the device reveals a large inner display. Therefore, this screen can then be extended on one side using its rollable mechanism.

However, the patent looks striking from the back but it’s only a patent that claims an idea and does not guarantee a final product at any point. Thus, users should take this information as a pinch of salt. However, Galaxy Z Fold 6 is also rumored to launch sometime in July 2024.
